Welcome to the final blog in The Better Fly series.

Part 8- Apex

To finalize our time becoming The Better Fly and creating a quick off-road contingency plan, we turn our focus to aptitude.  Did you realize that there was a bit of a gear shift back there?  In the last blog we merged onto higher ground with an out the box idea.  We looked at changing vehicles, which can be a shift in the nature of the way we approach our daily operations, or the way we plan to reach our market.  As we continue in that frame of mind, it's a natural step to lean on our aptitude.

As we become more experienced Founders and business owners, we will need to present our aptitude to our partners and even our customers.  It's the naturally occurring understanding or juxtaposition you present about the eco-system you're in.

You are fluent in your industry when you know the bones and where everything goes.  More importantly, what do you believe about where you fit within the bones and where everything goes?  Are you a placeholder for driving cost down?  Are you an advocate for innovating newer ways or updating the ideology of what's possible in your industry?

On account of solely aptitude, when you are present in your industry, what happens next?  What can be expected?  That's the apex brand and quality.  It could be pioneering, or it could simply be dominance.  It could be that your apex quality means high visibility.  Whatever it is, be aware of it.  Understand how it plays within, how it rejects, and even how it produces.

These are instinctual and innate ideologies, skills, and interpretations that you pass on to your enterprise that gives it its unique voice activation and place of prominence within its industry.

Take a moment then, as you look over the course of the series' to hone the phrase "Expect Aptitude".  Follow the questions posed from part 1 all the way to part 8, and expect to see a sharper flight this time when you take to the skies, and perhaps even A New Beast in the Sky.
