The Bi FACTOR.. Blog 3

Welcome to Bi FACTOR!  Thanks for receiving the invite to our latest blog series.

Today we look at the next two Keys in the acronym.  To get a full view understanding of this roll out, begin with Blog 1.

Let's look at Key #3- Fit

Understanding where your business fits in the market is a prime example of Brand Impact Factor.  The most suitable question in this Key is to ask yourself whether your venture has a horizontal impact or a vertical impact on your industry.

Let's simplify or complicate the question depending on where you are in your awareness of business.  When examining your Fit, you want to emerge with the understanding of which of these categories best fits your venture.  Are you a challenger, leader, corner, popular niche, or part of the general market/middle road in your marketplace?  These are seemingly two separate questions that technically collapse to one.

When you know the answer, you'll be able to keep pace and understand where your true competition lives, and who to follow for where the industry is headed.

Let's look at Key #4- Agility

Remember, these are the 5 Keys to Limited Liability Operations, with three new Keys that makes you a total Bi FACTOR and not a byproduct.

Agility is a compound term that covers the businesses mobility and flexibility.  Notice, the Key is not either of these isolated, but rather it is agility.  It doesn't mean encompassing everything- you may still have a fixed schedule though you may work from two locations.  It can also mean, you cover a small area of your city, but provide extended hours.

Let's look at agility in another way.  Agility could mean you've thought of everything, but you haven't adopted everything.  It's the particular way your business moves.  The most superior example of agility in Limited Liability Operations is the ability to fold up and fold down; scale up and scale down.  This does not mean your venture has no infrastructure, but it often means that the infrastructure is the cargo not the ship or train.

Take a little time to consider these Key factors before the next blog.

See you at the next intersection.
